Pardon my ignorance, but I am very surprised to see two chrysalis still here on Dec 27. I first noticed them in the late summer. They are on a bamboo plant that is surrounded by many milkweed plants. I assume that these will not survive the winter, but I am not sure. It is 9 degrees F today. Easton, Pennsylvania.
