Identification: Forewing hooked; hindwing pointed; oblique brown PM line seems to cross thin ST line below forewing apex, continues onto hindwing.
Wing Span: 2.0-2.8 cm
Life History:
Flight: May to September.
Caterpillar Hosts: Buckwheat (Polygonum cristatum), crested bindweed, and dock (Rumex spp.)

Range: Massachusetts to Florida, west to Texas, north to Wisconsin.
