Subfamily: Heliothentinae
Identification: Forewing deep olive green to grayish; median area paler. Note three white lines on forewing; am. line sharply bent toward costa; pm. and st. lines nearly straight. Hindwing greenish white; some grayish brown outer shading in some specimens.
Wing Span: 2-3.1 cm.
Life History:
Flight: July-October.
Caterpillar Hosts: False boneset and joe-pye-weed.
