Subfamily: Tortricinae
Identification: Forewing dull orange with dull reddish diagonal AM and PM lines and diffuse/stippled reddish shading beyond PM line (forming a triangular patch across apex); very little contrast between red and orange color, and no net-like reticulations in median or basal areas of wing; hindwing light yellowish-orange.
Wing Span: 1.6-2.0 cm
Life History:
Flight: March to June.
Caterpillar Hosts: Chokecherry (Prunus virginiana)

Range: Ontario to Florida, Saskatchewan to Texas.Also reported from California, Montana and Colorado.
