Life History:
Caterpillar Hosts: Primarily mines in Populus balsamifera L., less commonly in P. balsamifera trichocarpa and other Poplus and Salix
Adult Food:
Range: Widespread across northern North America from Ontario, Canada, to Alaska (about 64°N) south to Colorado and the Sierra Nevada Mts (about 34°N) of California
