Comments: Species included in this group are Eucosma radiatana (Walsingham, 1879), Eucosma albertana (McDunnough, 1925), Eucosma essexana (Kearfott, 1907), Eucosma awemeana (Kearfott, 1907), Eucosma indeterminana (McDunnough, 1925), Eucosma umbrastriana (Kearfott, 1907), Eucosma ferruginana (Fernald, 1882), Eucosma formosana (Clemens, 1860) and Eucosma altana (McDunnough, 1927).
Taxonomy Notes: This group represents a complex of nine species with similar forewing maculation and genitalia whose relationships have never been satisfactorily resolved
