Identification: Differs from all other gelechiine species in North America by having pale rust orange FW crossed by four evenly-spaced white bands, a convergence in pattern to conifer-feeding Tortricidae

Life History:
Flight: May through September, mainly June to July
Caterpillar Hosts: Records from Pinus sabiniana and P. ponderosa in California and Tsuga heterophylla in British Columbia.
