Subfamily: Heliothentinae
Identification: Forewing powdery ash gray with conspicuous white lines. Note the deeply curved pm. line. Blackish brown shading on basal side of am. line and in st. area. Hindwing grayish brown.
Wing Span: 2.5-3.1 cm.
Life History:
Flight: July-October.
Caterpillar Hosts: Ragweed.
