Isabella Tiger Moth or Banded Woolybear
Pyrrharctia isabella (J.E. Smith, 1797)

Subfamily: Arctiinae
Identification: (Adult) Wings orange-yellow to yellowish brow. Forewing pointed; marked with faint brownish antemedial, median, and postmedial lines. Note broken black reniform spot. Hindwing usually paler, flushed with pinkish orange in the female. Caterpillar (Black-ended Bear or Woolly Bear) colors change as they molt to successive instars, becoming less black and more reddish as they age.
