Pyrausta acrionalis (Walker, 1859)
Family: Crambidae
Subfamily: Pyraustinae
Identification: Forewing deep rose to violet; yellow along costa near apex, and along terminal areas and fringes of all wings. Am. and pm. lines edged unevenly with yellow; median blotches also yellow. Hindwing rose to gray with thin yellow median bar.
Wing Span: 1.4-1.8 cm.
Life History:
Flight: April-October.
Caterpillar Hosts: Mints.

Range: Nova Scotia to Florida, west to Manitoba, Missouri, and Texas.
