Neoterpes trianguliferata (Packard, 1871)

Subfamily: Ennominae
Identification: Larvae are twig mimics, light gray or light brown with many seta-bearing tubercles on the abdominal segments. Several longitudinal germinate brown lines. Head is pale brown with darker brown herringbone pattern on lateral lobes.
Wing Span:
Life History: Larvae feed in the summer. Pupation is ina cluster of host leaves within which the winter is passed.
Flight: April-June in British Columbia and late March-July in California.
Caterpillar Hosts: Eggs are laid in small groups on the undersides of currant or gooseberry leaves, Ribes species.
