Life History:
Caterpillar Hosts: mainly Douglas-Fir; other hosts include Western Hemlock, Western Red Cedar, Grand Fir, Lodgepole Pine (Canadian Forest Service). Larvae also feed on many broadleaf trees and shrubs (USGS)
Adult Food:
Range: California to British Columbia
