Identification: Similar to Mompha circumscriptella, but larger. Look for one basal and two am. Black dots on forewing. Yellowish brown V-shaped lines fill st. and terminal areas, parallelling pointed apex and blackish point formed by fringe. Hindwing gray with broad fringe.
Wing Span: 0.8-1.5 cm.
Life History:
Flight: May-August.
Caterpillar Hosts: Stems of evening-primroses.
