Life History:
Flight: march to August
Caterpillar Hosts: primarily willow (Salix but also poplar (Populus), alder (Alnus), birch (Betula), and Prunus.
Adult Food:
Range: Holarctic; ranges from Alaskaacross Canada to Nova Scotia and south to central California, eastern Arizona, and Colorado.
