Subfamily: Larentiinae
Identification: Wings translucent pale yellow; forewing crossed by two irregular lines of fused bluish gray spots. Note single spot midway along outer margin of forewing.
Wing Span: 2.1-3 cm.
Life History:
Flight: May-September; three broods.
Caterpillar Hosts: Maples and violets.
