Life History:
Caterpillar Hosts: Dead tissue of the cactus species Opuntia and Echinocereus. Also the dead trunks of the boojum tree (Fouquieria columnaris).
Adult Food:
Habitat: Deserts
Range: Texas to California, south to Puebla, Mexico. Also southern Nevada.
