Subfamily: Erebinae
Identification: Forewing variable - reddish to yellowish brown, sometimes with a greenish tinge. Prominent basal patch darker brown; ends sharply at am. line. Apical area darker than median area of forewing, but not as dark as basal patch. Hindwing yellowish orange with broad black bands; fringe yellowish.
Wing Span: 7.5-8.6 cm.
