Identification: Easily recognized by the smooth brown forewing with darker brown, inconspicuous lines. Note paler brown area beyond nearly straight st. line. Hindwing orange and black.
Wing Span: 5-6 cm.
Life History:
Flight: July-early October.
Caterpillar Hosts: Waxmyrtle.
