Identification: Forewing silvery white with white streaks. Median band and combined st. and terminal bands oblique and irregular, gold and brown. Note two white dots enclosed by terminal band near apex. Hindwing gray.
Wing Span: 1-1.2 cm.
Life History:
Flight: Late June - July.
Caterpillar Hosts: Choke cherry, oaks, and pin cherry.

Range: Quebec to West Virginia, west to Manitoba and Missouri.
