Date notes: First spotted it flying toward this bush (boxwood?) from about 30' north on 05/26/2014 while mowing the lawn.

Observation notes: The gray is purple gray. When it is flying in bright sunlight it appears to be a bright cool red pastel color. In the photo it is in subdued light. Both sighting were during sunny days. About 75 degrees. Live in this location for 16 years and have never seen one like it. Submitting photo in case it is something unusual for here.
