Observation notes: When I first noticed the moth his wings where closed as I walked to wars him he opened his wings for about 5 minutes, when I started to walk away he shut them, and never opened them again. I spotted the moth walking out of my job at a gymnastics facility in a industrial building park . The moth was perched right outside the front door. I did not notice him there when I first arrived at work around 5pm, but did notice him while I was leaving around 630pm. I noticed he had a little tear on his left wing. I observed the moth for around 45 minutes. In that time he opened his wings for about 5min at first and then left them close the remainder of the time. The weather out was a very comfortable low 70's and a nice steady breeze.

Coordinator notes: The short feathering on the antennae and good-sized abdomen make me think this is a female of the species.
