Observation notes: The moth was sitting motionless on the aluminum siding covering the bottom of the overhanging porch on the Nature House in Goldstream Provincial park near Victoria BC. It was spotted at about 11:00 am on a sunny and cool day, temperature about 6 dg C. The building is the only heated structure in the area. There were at least five species of moths on the walls in the fair weather after several days of rain.
