Observation notes: blue sky sunny warm cold blooded things sunning lizards and butterflies also on nectar of same plant unknown to me the name of the shrub also out buckeye painted ladie, l admiral . cloudless sulphur others.

Coordinator notes: You misidentified that one!~ It is probably a species you didn't even know you had. I don't have the California Fatal Metalmark at all, though I have the Arizona subspecies. Note the blotchy dark areas and more brownish ground color, separating them from the more reddish Wright's Metalmark.
