Observation notes: Found in the neighborhood of Arcadia, in Phoenix, AZ. I found this smoothe black caterpillar on some weeds I let grow in the yard because they were fed on by some green hornworms last season. So some kind of nightshade? It has small pink flowers on it (the host plant). Any idea what it is?
