Observation notes: It was among a patch of Bidens pilosa, grasses and other ruderal vegetation. It is in the 5-10mm range.

Coordinator notes: This is definitely a species of Aethes but at this time it is impossible to know which species. Most require dissection to be identified and to complicate matters, as many as 80 new species will be added to the genus in the near future.
