Observation notes: Outside temperature upper 70's, humidity level 85% or higher, sunny day, brisk wind, the "Mourning Cloak" was observed feeding on a Common Milkweed I have growing on my 2 1/2 acres of land. The location was approx.100 yds from nearest street. The butterfly was observed for about 10 minutes. As I approached it became fearful, and flew in a circle of aprox 20 to 30 yards and came right back to the same Milkweed Plant. I was then able to take the photographs. Very exciting find, once I was able to identify it, and see there is no sighting marks on your map for my area.
