Observation notes: Found this pair mating June29/13 on a beautiful day on a tree by my deck. They stayed all day, an at night , around 11pm I saw them depart. During their mating the female would occasionally caress the male. At first I thought there was a snake coiled by the tree, but hen I got closer I could see the moths.
