Observation notes: An amazing creature, about 3 inches long, wings are light gray with many delicate black lines, the head/thorax area is huge and bulbous, chunky hairy body. The wings have a translucent quality that is quite wonderful--I am not sure this is a moth, actually. The overall effect is moth-like but the wings are really strange
