Coordinator notes: Both Lapara coniferarum and L. bombycoides are found in MA, and can be difficult to differentiate, especially when worn like this individual. However, seeing as your location is largely white pine, I will go with L. bombycoides on this determination. L. coniferarum is generally more confined to pitch pine barrens in New England.
