Observation notes: Spotted resting on a shady tree. Moth was mostly still.

Coordinator notes: Not a columbia silkmoth (Hyalophora columbia), but the similar cecropia moth (Hyalophora cecropia). H. columbia is found much further north, and is smaller and darker/duller overall.
