Observation date: October 20, 2012
Submitted by: boreal-forest
Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: I think that the orange spot on its thorax is due to worn scales. This makes identification difficult. I cannot ID this with my peterson field guide. It was a cool fall day in southern manitoba, canada. The moth seemed half dopey in semi torpor. It was attempting to crawl into the faucet of my house. It was about 1 1/4" total length.
