Observation notes: Hot, sunny day, around 80f. The butterfly was flying low to the ground in a small clearing in the woods, landing only on rocks or tree roots.

Coordinator notes: Always a good record in Colorado because it is found in isolated pockets of populations. It is uncommon east of the Continental Divide. This is probably only the second or third record and at a new site. Nice observation and picture Venice!
