Observation notes: Sighted near the entrance of a KwikTrip store in Holmen, WI around 9:48 PM. it was flying erratically running into the wall and awning, it seemed to be trying to find a place to land. It finally crash landed on the sidewalk where I then took the picture. it seemed either very exhausted or dying it was a warm clear evening.
