Observation notes: The moth seemed to be drying itsself in the slight breeze, as if it were very wet from the dew. It was about 58 to 60 degrees F. and sunny. I've lived in the U.P. of Michigan for over 20 years and this is the first one of these I have ever seen.

Coordinator notes: This is a male. I was expecting to start seeing these any day now in northern Michigan. Never numerous, but found throughout the state.
