Observation notes: Sunny and hot. First sighted around 10:AM resting in the shade on the brick wall. Later observed it on the ground and when it was in the sun it flapped its wings but did not fly, as though it was in distress. When I moved so it was in the shade, it quieted down and as soon as I moved and it was in the sun, it appeared distressed again. An hour or so later it was gone.
