Observation notes: The caterpillar was found on a Pussy Willow shrub. It may have traveled from our Garden Center in Oxford, PA to our home at the time in Quarryville, PA. It made an incomplete cocoon within a week of the siting. Not sure if something ate the caterpillar or if a fungicide used on plants near these plants contaminated the caterpillar.
