Observation notes: This moth has been hanging out on my bug zapper since about 09 July 2011. He does move around on it, as he has been seen on different places on the bug zapper. I think he's possibly eating the other dead insects, rather than just being attracted to the light.
Status: Resident

Coordinator notes: Adult lepidoptera do not eat other insects, dead or alive. This species does not feed at all. It has been attracted to your zapper every night for the past week.
