Hubbard's Small Silkmoth
Sphingicampa hubbardi

Observation date: July 04, 2011
Submitted by: Anaisnin
Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: My moth is a girl, she laid neon green, oval-shaped eggs. With the help of this website, I am tentatively identifying her as Sphingicampa-hubbardi, and expecting hatchlings within 5 days. I plan to feed them on honey locust and honey mesquite clippings. It is very wet outside. Sphingi has been very inactive while she laid her eggs during the past day, and cooperating for photographs.
