Observation notes: Spent the day outside the gas station tucked into a corner between some freezer. First spotted around 7am, then photographed around 9pm. Sort of an unseasonably cold day (even for MI). Occasional sprinkling and light rain all day, but still hung out all day. It was interesting to watch it get gently blown by breezes that we barely felt. Was very fond of my girlfriend, and would proudly spread it's wings at the slightest touch. Wings were roughly 6 inches across. A truly beautiful creature.
