Observation notes: Sage brush sooty hairstreak and California hairstreak do not spread their wings to warm. Also they tend to not be flushed away as easily. When nervous about how close I get when they are thinking of fleeing they will rub thier wings together. If I back off then they calm down. Once the blues were warm they were flying around a lot. The hairstreaks were not.
