Observation notes: This next submission is from another part of the large patch of lupines at Foothills Park, Palo Alto (~ 200 ft away from the lake edge and lawn with clover, across the entry road). This female was flying and landing frequently on lupine (although in these photos not on lupine), but I did not observe any ovipositing. All three photos are of the same individual.
