Coordinator notes: Recent evidence favors a spring brood C. neglecta over C. ladon in this region, and casts doubt that ladon even exists in the state of WI secondary to lack of its known primary host plant (Flowering Dogwood). There also is a suspected spring brood C. lucia in the area, but the brighter white venter and lack of darker HW margins and prominent checkering would favor C. neglecta. -jmgesell
