Coordinator notes: Very difficult to confirm this photo because the comma looks very worn and bright sunlight is penetrating the wings but because of this it seems to show enough wing details to identify it as a Satyr Comma or Satyr Anglewing....no evidently wide dark border on the hindwings and the ventral side is obviously very light and uniformly colored and in any markings. So rather than hit the "cannot identify" button, I'll consider this one a Satyr. Of course, the only other most likely one would be as you suggested...a Hoary Comma. Mike
