Observation notes: In garden at Avalon, Catalina Island. Not sure if I just spent 15 minutes photographing a common Grey Hairstreak lol or if this may be the elusive Avalon Scrub Hairstreak. Hope its the latter. The small eye spot could be an ID indicator. Partly cloudy day in the 60’s F.
