Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: Followed it around the yard for several hours initially NOT knowing what it was but knew I had never observed this one on our property before. Entered into INat and received confirmation to my ID from Steve Cary. It was stated this is the northern most observation for this species in NM. Apologies for the late entry here. Life has been crazy! I will certainly be watching more closely for this one.
Status: Temporary Colonist

Coordinator notes: this is definitely one to keep an eye on because it is new for your area and farther north than previously known in eastern NM. I called it a "temporary colonist" but regular sightings going forward could tip it into "resident" status.
