Observation notes: Along the Sierra Vista Trail crossing of Soledad Canyon Road, this female occupied a sparse area that included Bahia-leaved senna, where she oviposited under the leaves, then moved to another plant to perch. The morning was warming, calm, and under full sunlight.

Coordinator notes: another superb observation which merits some follow-up. please tell me more about this "bahia-leafed senna." Searching online, I can't find anything by that name. is it Senna bauhinoides? may be a new host plant for this butterfly.
