Observation notes: Basking, patrolling paved pullout and shoulders of road. Saw two flying at the same time. Seen at Parker Creek Falls paved turnout along NF Road 3010 which is 7.1 miles from the junction of Marys Peak Road and Hwy 34. Habitat along road includes riparian mixed woods, mossy waterfall, and brushy granite cliffs. More of this species present on Marys Peak than I have seen in previous years. I found two of this species at three of the six stops I made along the road to the Marys Peak Day Use Area. So six total for my drive up the mountain.
