Dotted Checkerspot
Poladryas minuta

Observation date: August 30, 2025
Submitted by: Chrustay
Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: Seen on a roadside beside a dugout pit (which might have served as a hill if one was small and coming up from the pit to the road?) The bright red-orange uppersurface caught my eye before I lost it. But I returned, and it had come back to the roadside for sunning. I was surprised to see it, as I didn't realize that this species was bivolltine.
