Observation notes: Today I found 5 more Buckeyes. They were all beautiful. Here are 3 of them.
3 were at a swamp edge. The other two were 1/2 mile away - those 2 were feeding on purple asters, The other 3 were on golden rod, or basking on the warm sandy road

Coordinator notes: Nice find…I remember these being an uncommon finding back in the day in MN! I think it’s too early for offspring of migrants to have emerged in your area, so these are likely initial migrants that have arrived. -Jeff Gesell
