Observation notes: Flying, alighting on Horsetail Milkweed plants and taking in nectar. Only the second Monarch we have observed this year. The first was at the nearby Santa Fe Municipal Recreation Complex on June 28. I was unable to obtain a photo on that occasion. Possibly a male?
